Congratulations to our U16s heading to a Final at Murryfield

𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗵 𝗨𝟭𝟲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹!

Saturday was a good morning at Ardencaple! On a frost-covered pitch with frozen puddles crunching underfoot, the U16 boys powered to a 𝟲𝟳–𝟭𝟰 win over Cumnock, booking their place in the Schoolboy Murrayfield Final on Wed 𝟭𝟬 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿.

William set the tone with a try after just 14 seconds, followed by strong scores from Jackson and a volley of tries from Struan, with Shuggie and Lucas providing the extras.

The forwards—Rory, Shuggy, Noah, Ryan and Cia—put in huge shifts, especially during a tough spell of Cumnock pressure.

The team knows they’ll need to sharpen up their tackle discipline for the big final, where the opposition will be stronger and penalties more costly. But today’s performance showed heart, ruthlessness and determination in abundance.

Now the focus turns to the Murrayfield schoolboy final, where Helensburgh will face Morrison’s.
