Helensburgh RFC U15s – Tough Mudder Legends!
This weekend, our U15s squad – plus a cracking crew of parents, siblings, and tag-alongs – took on the Tough Mudder 5K in South Queensferry, and what a shift they put in!
From the baltic plunge of Brain Freeze, to scrambling up the Mudderhorn, and finishing with a shocking wee jolt from the electric tentacles (aye, that’s no a typo ), the team showed pure grit, banter, and brilliant teamwork.
Carl, John,and Louis – without you THE PARENT HELPERS this mad, muddy mission wouldn’t have happened. Thank you for organising, rallying the troops, and keeping everyone on track.
It wasnae just the boys getting muddy – we had mums and da’s crawling through trenches, climbing walls, and helping each other over every obstacle. The laughter, shouting, and muck-covered hugs at the finish line said it all.
Next stop: U16s rugby – and if there’s mud involved, we’re ready for it!
